The People's Committee of District 4 (HCMC) has just issued a plan to enroll students in the first grade of the 2025-2026 school year. Of which, the most interested secondary school is Van Don Secondary School, which has its own admission plan to enroll students in grade 6.
Specifically, the enrollment target of Van Don Secondary School for the 2025-2026 school year includes 2 integrated English classes with 70 students (35 students/class) and the remaining 6 general education classes with 240 students (40-45 students/class).
Selection conditions are as follows: Students are recognized as having completed primary school in District 4. Students currently studying at primary schools in District 4 will be selected. Special cases will be decided by the District Admissions Steering Committee.
Selection criteria: Primary schools in District 4 will select students according to the allocated number based on 2 criteria and consider scores from high to low until the quota is met. In special cases, Van Don Secondary School will be assigned to survey the students' learning ability to meet the school's learning environment.

Criterion 1: The total final score of grade 5 in 2024-2025 includes 3 subjects: Math, Vietnamese, English (maximum 30 points). The English score for each skill must be 8 points or higher.
Criterion 2: Excellent results at the end of the school year: Each school year will be counted as 1 point (maximum 5 years will be 5 points). If the students in the last position of the target have the same total score, the primary school can consider 1 more highest achievement in 5 school years (from grade 1 to grade 5). Thu Duc City: From May 12, register to take the survey to 3 "hot" schools
The Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City has just announced the schedule for the 6th grade entrance exam at 3 "hot" secondary schools in the city. Specifically: All candidates will take a 90-minute aptitude test, consisting of 2 parts:
+ Multiple choice part: Students answer 20 multiple choice questions in English about understanding natural sciences , social sciences and common sense (do within 30 minutes).
+ Essay section (60 minutes) includes: English proficiency test: Reading comprehension, writing (candidates take the test in English). Math and logical thinking ability test (candidates take the test in Vietnamese). Reading comprehension and writing ability test (candidates take the test in Vietnamese).
Specific targets: Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School: Enrolling 9 6th grade classes (including at least 5 integrated English classes, the rest are enhanced English classes) with 315 students.
+ Hoa Lu Secondary School: Enrolling 7 6th grade classes (including at least 3 integrated English classes, the rest are enhanced English classes) with 245 students.
Binh Tho Secondary School: Recruiting 8 6th grade classes (including at least 3 integrated English classes, the rest are enhanced English classes) with 280 students.
Candidates and conditions for admission: Students who have completed primary school in Thu Duc City and students who have completed primary school elsewhere and are currently residing in Thu Duc City, with a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of grade 5 in each subject of Vietnamese and math.
Each student can only register for the entrance exam at one school (no other wishes), the exam results of that school will not be used to consider admission to the other two schools; students are encouraged to register at a school near their living area for convenience in pick-up and drop-off, avoiding pressure at a certain school.
Principals of primary schools support the confirmation of test scores as a condition for 5th grade students who have completed primary school to register for 6th grade admission to Tran Quoc Toan 1 Secondary School, Hoa Lu Secondary School and Binh Tho Secondary School.

After completing the survey registration form (according to the form), parents print and submit the application according to the instructions in the application.
