Ho Chi Minh City: 168 communes, wards, and special zones simultaneously launched a campaign to handle illegal advertising.

On the morning of August 30, Steering Committee 138 of 168 communes, wards and special zones in Ho Chi Minh City mobilized union members, youth and the masses to coordinate with functional forces to simultaneously remove illegal advertising products, contributing to ensuring social order and safety and beautifying urban areas in the city.

In which, Phu An ward, Thuan An ward, Ba Ria ward and Dat Do commune are the host units to organize the launching ceremony with the participation of leaders of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department, leaders of the 138 Steering Committee at the commune level, the People's Committee of the commune and socio-political organizations in the area.

At the ceremony, the commune-level police units signed a cooperation agreement with socio-political organizations, demonstrating their consensus and synergy in maintaining beauty and security and order.

After the launch of the Commune Police Chief, working groups at 4 pilot units dismantled and removed more than 2,000 illegal advertising products, thoroughly handled them on major roads, inner-city roads... and small alleys, mobilizing the participation of more than 1,200 people; mobilizing 800 households to voluntarily remove illegal advertising in front of and around their houses; working with more than 100 photocopy and printing businesses to sign a commitment not to print or produce advertising products related to illegal financial lending activities; collecting a list of 150 phone numbers printed on illegal advertising products to focus on fighting and handling.
