Tran Bui Bao Khanh won the Road to Olympia 2025

Tran Bui Bao Khanh, a student at Hanoi -Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi, is the winner, winning first prize at the Road to Olympia 2025 final with a laurel wreath and a prize worth 50,000 USD.

Second prize worth 200 million VND belongs to Doan Thanh Tung, a student of Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, South Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province.

Third prize worth 100 million VND went to Nguyen Nhut Lam, a student at Cai Be High School, Dong Thap province and Le Quang Duy Khoa, a student at Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted, Hue city.

In the Individual Warm-up round that opened the final round, each contestant had 6 individual questions. Duy Khoa won 40 points; Thanh Tung 30 points; Bao Khanh 50 points; Nhat Lam 40 points.

The next General Warm-up round was faster, requiring contestants to quickly press the bell to answer. Nhat Lam and Duy Khoa took turns pressing the bell. After the Warm-up round, Bao Khanh continued to maintain the leading position with 65 points, Duy Khoa had 60 points, Thanh Tung had 30 points, and Nhat Lam had 35 points.

The final obstacle had 21 letters. In the first horizontal question, all 4 contestants gave the correct answer, each with an additional 10 points. The first puzzle piece was opened but no bell rang yet. The contestants continued to solve the second horizontal question and each contestant had a different answer. In this question, Thanh Tung was the only one to get a point with the answer "Drama".

And then the bell rang from contestant Thanh Tung. With the answer “Truong Ba’s soul, butcher’s skin”, Thanh Tung brought all viewers to a moment of suspense when the contestant himself said he was not sure of the answer. The audience burst into tears when they heard the result, the bell ringing and the correct answer brought Thanh Tung from the contestant with the lowest score to the top of the mountain climbing group.

The scores at this point are Thanh Tung (100 points), Bao Khanh (75 points), Duy Khoa (70 points) and Nhut Lam (45 points) respectively.

The Acceleration round is an important opportunity for candidates to increase their scores. Through each Acceleration question, candidates have made the most of their opportunities to gain points. With the scores chasing each other, the leading positions in this round are constantly changing.

In the last question, Thanh Tung was the one who won the most points with 40 points.

At the end of the Acceleration round, Thanh Tung became the leader with 210 points. Bao Khanh's score was 185 points, Duy Khoa had 150 points, and Nhut Lam had 135 points.

In the Finish Line round, the cheering atmosphere from the connecting points became more exciting than ever, fueling the contestants in this decisive round. All 4 “climbers” were highly focused, using the strategy of choosing question packages, and lucky stars to be determined to get points.

Bao Khanh entered the Finishing round with only 175 points, having lost points for ringing the bell for an incorrect answer to Thanh Tung's question. However, Bao Khanh had a good Finishing round by continuously answering questions correctly, bringing his score to the highest level of 225 points. After that, Bao Khanh had the right to answer but did not have the correct answer, so he had 215 points left.

In the final result, Tran Bui Bao Khanh had the highest score, becoming the owner of the Road to Olympia 2025 laurel wreath.
