Awarding 23 sets of medals and cups at the Lam Dong Provincial Badminton Tournament 2023

(LĐ online) - After 4 days of competition, the 2023 Lam Dong Provincial Badminton Tournament organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lam Dong ended on May 14 in Da Lat.

Awarding prizes for men's doubles championship regardless of age

Starting from May 10, this year's tournament gathered nearly 200 athletes from 11 delegations including units and districts and cities in the province, including: Departmentof Education and Training, Dam Rong, Provincial Labor Culture House, Bao Loc, Provincial Police, Lam Ha, Lac Duong, Da Lat, Di Linh, Duc Trong, Da Lat College.

Awarding prizes to the leading athletes in the men's doubles category, group 2, aged 36 - 40

At the tournament, athletes compete according to age groups and championships; in which, group 1 does not distinguish between ages including men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles and from group 2 to group 6 includes from 36 - 40 years old, from 41 - 45 years old, from 46 - 50 years old, from 51 - 55 years old and from 56 years old and above with men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles.

The tournament also has content for managers in the province with 2 age groups including the group of 45 years old and under and the group of 46 years old and over.

According to the Organizing Committee, this is the tournament with the largest number of athletes competing in recent years, proving that the badminton movement is developing very strongly in the province. At the tournament, many matches were fierce, competitive, and exciting until the last minute. Athletes from Da Lat and Bao Loc continued to dominate when winning many high positions in most of the tournament's events.

The organizers awarded a total of 23 sets of medals and trophies to the champions in the events.
