DNO - On the afternoon of September 20, the City People's Committee and the Department of Construction organized an award ceremony for the contest for ideas on flower and lighting decoration, mascot design and decorative symbols for the Lunar New Year 2025.

This is an annual competition held for the past 11 years. The winning and non-winning designs are researched for practical application in flower decoration, lighting and traditional Tet mascots on flower streets and public places in the city.

This year's competition has 31 design plans from student groups from schools and design consulting units participating, including 22 ideas for flower and lighting decoration and 9 designs for mascots and decorative symbols for the Lunar New Year 2025.

After the evaluation and selection process, the City People's Committee granted certificates to 12 winning designs.

Accordingly, regarding the idea of ​​flower decoration and lighting for the Year of the Snake, the City People's Committee has issued a certificate of First Prize for the plan "Quang nien thien ty" and Second Prize for the plan "At Ty knocks on the door, a full new spring" of the group of students from the University of Technology - University of Da Nang ; Third Prize for the plan "Sac mau Han giang" of CAP Design Studio Company; 3 Encouragement Prizes for the plans "Xuan Hieu", "Da Nang rises up, At Ty is prosperous" of the group of students from the University of Technology - University of Da Nang and the plan "Phu dang hoa" of the group of students from the University of Architecture of Da Nang.

Regarding the design ideas for the sacred objects and decorative symbols for the 2025 Lunar New Year, the City People's Committee awarded the First Prize certificate to the design project "Spring Travel" by CAP Design Studio, Second Prize to the project "Spring Knocking on the Door", Third Prize to the project "Spring Ambassador" and 3 Encouragement Prizes to the projects "New Beginning, Rebirth", "Spring Welcome", "Spring Frangipani" by a group of students from the University of Science and Technology - University of Danang.

According to the Department of Construction, both winning and non-winning designs will be studied for application in decorative designs for the Lunar New Year and major holidays in 2025.
