The meeting reviewed the heroic history of our nation at the historic moment of liberating the South and unifying the country; the history of the formation and development of the Vietnam Association of the Blind. Representatives of the Association of the Blind informed members and blind people about the association's activities; encouraged blind children to go to school; introduced literacy, vocational training, and rehabilitation programs... Thereby, they also encouraged members and blind people to live optimistically, positively, and to comply well with the policies of the Party and the State.

The representative of Nga Nam Town People's Committee highly appreciated the association's coordination in caring for members and the blind; at the same time, he hoped that the association would continue to do a good job in caring for members, especially teaching literacy and vocational skills to the blind, contributing to the locality's good social security work.
At the meeting, the association presented 53 gifts, each containing 250,000 VND and 25kg of rice to members and blind people. For remote communes where blind people have difficulty traveling, the association transported gifts to the People's Committees of the communes to give to the blind people. The cost of the gifts was mobilized by the Provincial Association for the Blind from donors and the association's fund.
This is an activity to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 56th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Association of the Blind (April 17, 1969 - April 14, 2025).
