Over 1,400 health insurance cards were distributed to people in difficult circumstances.

On the afternoon of December 9th, at the Mau A Social Insurance office, the Lao Cai Provincial Social Insurance agency, in coordination with various units, businesses, and local authorities, organized a program to donate health insurance cards to disadvantaged people in the communes of Dong Cuong, Mau A, Xuan Ai, Lam Giang, and Tan Hop.

At the event, the Provincial Social Insurance agency presented 1,445 health insurance cards, worth over 174 million VND in total, to people in difficult circumstances in the communes of Dong Cuong, Mau A, Xuan Ai, Tan Hop, and Lam Giang.

Funding is provided by the Vietnam Social Insurance and mobilized from organizations, units, businesses, and philanthropists in the area.

Leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance Department presented symbolic plaques to people in difficult circumstances in the communes, offering health insurance cards.

Each health insurance card may not have great monetary value, but it reflects the care and sharing of the community, helping people feel secure in their healthcare.

This activity carries profound humanitarian significance, demonstrating the spirit of "leaving no one behind" in the implementation of social security policies. At the same time, it contributes to spreading the values ​​of solidarity and sharing of social insurance and health insurance policies in the community and supports localities in expanding social insurance and health insurance coverage by 2025.
