On July 30, at the district's Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center, the Hoa Lu District Voluntary Blood Donation Steering Committee organized the 2023 Voluntary Blood Donation Program "Every drop of blood given, a life saved".
Participating in the HMTN program are over 500 volunteers who are officials, civil servants, employees, and workers of agencies, units, businesses, and armed forces in the district.
Volunteers participating in blood donation are guided through procedures, health screening, and instructions on safe blood donation procedures such as blood tests and blood pressure measurements to ensure health.
At the blood donation event, the Provincial General Hospital received 500 units of blood. These units of blood will be added to the blood reserve to promptly meet the blood needs in emergency and treatment for patients at medical facilities in the province, helping the health sector not to encounter difficulties in blood.
Thanks to good propaganda work, for many years, Hoa Lu district has always completed and exceeded the assigned plan on voluntary blood donation. In the district, there have been many individuals and families who have donated blood continuously for many years, and have been commended and rewarded. The voluntary blood donation movement of the district has increasingly spread, receiving the active participation of many people, demonstrating the fine tradition of "Love others as you love yourself" of the Vietnamese people.
