On the Vietnamese side, the exhibition was attended by comrades: Vo Thi Anh Xuan, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President; Hoang Trung Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Communist Magazine; Le Anh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs ...
Also attending the exhibition were the Ambassadors of Venezuela and Palestine; representatives of relevant ministries, departments and agencies of the Central Government and Ho Chi Minh City.

The exhibition took place at the Institute for Cultural Exchange with France - IDECAF (No. 31 Thai Van Lung Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). The exhibition introduced 42 photos and propaganda posters created by Cuban artists, expressing their feelings for the Vietnamese people in the long march to fight against the enemy and defend the country.

Speaking at the exhibition, Comrade Salvador Valdés Mesa, Vice President of the Republic of Cuba, emphasized that "For Vietnam" is the name we have given to the collection of representative works by more than ten Cuban graphic designers. During the 60s and 70s, they contributed a strong voice through their works of art, denouncing to the international community the crimes of American imperialism against the Vietnamese people.
This exhibition is a vivid demonstration of the Cuban people’s deep and enduring solidarity movement for the heroic resistance of Vietnam. The heroic victory of the Vietnamese people 50 years ago has united us today in the heroic city – Ho Chi Minh City.
"For Vietnam" also engraves the immortal words of Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro, when he affirmed that Cuba is willing to sacrifice its blood for the brotherly country of Vietnam. At the same time, this is also a tribute to the great leader of the Cuban Revolution - Fidel Castro - who always admired and was inspired by the great heroic epic of the people of Ho Chi Minh. Fidel himself, in the fiery land of Quang Tri in 1973, was moved to exclaim: "Whether one thousand years, two thousand years, five thousand years or ten thousand years later, future generations will forever remember the heroism of the Vietnamese people".
The representative of the Communist Magazine said that the exhibition “For Vietnam - Por Vietnam” is not only a cultural event of profound significance, but also an opportunity for the Vietnamese public to gain more understanding, pride and affection for the special and loyal relationship between Vietnam and Cuba over the past half century. Thereby, it contributes to strengthening the close relationship and the steadfast relationship between the two Parties, the two States and the people of Vietnam and Cuba.
