An exhibition of books, newspapers, and images on the theme "Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity".

The documentary exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), with the theme "Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity," will take place from August 12 to September 18 at the National Library of Vietnam.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism plans to organize a documentary exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).

The exhibition is a practical activity aimed at affirming the great significance and important role of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2nd in the historical process of the nation; propagating and educating all strata of the people about the patriotic tradition, the spirit of self-reliance and self-strength, the aspiration for peace ; the achievements of the construction, protection and development of the country over the past 80 years and the aspiration for prosperity under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh.

The event also aims to encourage the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, looking forward to the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

The exhibition, themed "Autumn of Independence and Aspiration for Prosperity," will take place from August 12th to September 18th at the National Library of Vietnam (31 Trang Thi Street, Cua Nam Ward, Hanoi ).

The exhibition, featuring 800 documents and 80 photographs, offers the public and readers authentic, vivid, and rich perspectives on events, figures, and memorable moments during significant historical periods of the country.

The documents and images on display are divided into four sections: “The August Revolution of 1945 - The first great victory of the Vietnamese nation in the 20th century”, “National Day, September 2, 1945 - A glorious milestone of the Vietnamese nation in the Ho Chi Minh era”, “The historical value and contemporary significance of the August Revolution and National Day, September 2”, and “Vietnam - 80 years of steady progress”.
