The exhibition is part of the Villa Saigon 2025 Artist in Residence program, opening at 5:00 p.m., September 12 (lasting until October 3) at Ho Chi Minh City Museum (65 Ly Tu Trong, Saigon Ward).

Breil-Dupont currently lives and works in Ho Chi Minh City. She has exhibited internationally at museums, galleries and art fairs.

Here, There and Everywhere marks her first exhibition in Vietnam, featuring nine large-scale oil paintings, ranging from portraits of prominent figures in Vietnam's contemporary art scene to abstract works that reflect Breil-Dupont's inner transformation since returning to live in Vietnam.

The exhibition explores the “invisible threads” that connect heritage and environment, past and present, personal and collective memories. The red color, which appears throughout, evokes vitality, festivities and luck in Vietnamese culture, and also reminds us of the “red thread of fate”, the invisible thread that connects souls that belong together.

Through his works, Breil-Dupont offers an intimate look at the individuals who are shaping contemporary cultural life in Ho Chi Minh City, as well as sending viewers a message about how art illuminates the subtle connections between time, space and identity.

The Villa Saigon program, organized by the French Institute in Vietnam, is for artists or groups of artists with French nationality or living in France, working in all art forms and specializing in contemporary creation. The purpose of the program is to strengthen and promote artistic dialogue between France and Vietnam.
