On February 21, the Criminal Police Department of Go Cong Dong District Police (Tien Giang) said they were investigating a case of 75 people gambling on cockfighting for money in the district.
According to initial information, on February 20, the Criminal Police Department of Tien Giang Provincial Police coordinated with professional units of Tien Giang Provincial Police, local police and the Border Guard Command of Tien Giang Province to eradicate a gambling den in the form of cockfighting for money on vacant land in Den Do Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune, Go Cong Dong District.

As a result, the authorities caught 75 people red-handed at the scene.
Authorities seized evidence including: 5 roosters, 1 pair of spurs, 1 scale and watch; temporarily detained 54 mobile phones, 52 motorbikes of various types, and more than 210 million VND in cash.
According to the police, this cockfighting ring was organized by Ngo Van Luan (born in 1966, also known as Luan "Gia") and Pham Van Lam (born in 1980, also known as "Ba Heo"), both residing in Tan Thanh commune.
