The collection of 21 treasures of Hai Phong , including 18 national treasures from the An Bien Collection and especially the set of gold and silver artifacts in the Nghè Temple, which were preserved and received by the Hai Phong Museum in February 2024, will be announced and displayed for the first time at the Red Phoenix Flower Festival 2024.
The An Bien Collection, owned and collected by businessman Tran Dinh Thang (Hai Phong) for the past 40 years, comprises 500 artifacts with registered scientific records with state agencies, divided into four cultural spatial groups. These include artifacts from the Dai Viet state, dating from the 11th to 19th centuries; Chinese artifacts, dating from the 9th to 19th centuries; artifacts from the Northern domination period, from the 5th century BC to the 9th century; and a collection of wooden and stone Buddha statues from the 17th to 19th centuries. Among these, 18 items from the An Bien Collection were recognized as national treasures in 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Three national treasures were recognized in 2023: a Dong Son bronze vase (An Bien), dating from the Dong Son Culture, 2nd-1st centuries BC; a brown-glazed ceramic vase, dating from the 11th-12th centuries; and a gray-blue glazed ceramic incense burner, dating from approximately the Hung Tri era (1588-1591), during the reign of King Mac Mau Hop. This collection of artifacts is extremely valuable and of great significance to the people of Hai Phong. It is closely associated with the worship of General Le Chan, who laid the foundation for the formation of Hai Phong city as it is today, and is revered by the people as the Holy Mother and tutelary deity of the city.
This event is organized within the framework of the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024. The Red Flamboyant Flower Festival is a political , cultural, and social event, a source of pride for the people of Hai Phong, held annually in May, coinciding with the anniversary of the liberation of Hai Phong (May 13, 1955). This year, the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival - Hai Phong 2024, with the theme "Hai Phong – Shining Brightly in the Land of Heritage," will take place from May 10-14, 2024 in Hai Phong City with many unique cultural and artistic events.
