Delegates visit LaoSao Fest - the Vietnamese-Lao student cultural exchange festival.

Attending the event, Ms. Khamphao Ernthavanh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Vietnam, highly appreciated the event and stated: "The organization of this cultural exchange between Lao and Vietnamese students is an important event aimed at creating conditions and opportunities for students of both countries to appreciate, recognize, and understand the beautiful cultures of the two nations; to learn about the long history of relations in order to further promote and strengthen bilateral relations."

Mr. Nguyen Manh Dong, Deputy Director of the Diplomatic Academy, emphasized: “We believe that Vietnam and Laos have a very special relationship. It's a relationship of 'sharing a grain of rice, splitting a stalk of vegetable in half.' Throughout the history of the two nations, we have always stood side by side, developing together. Therefore, in the coming time, with the strategic bond, we believe that the relationship between Vietnam and Laos will have new developments. In the past, with the development of relations between the two countries, previous generations have made many contributions, even sacrificing their lives for the relationship between the two countries. Therefore, the future of the relationship between the two countries will depend heavily on the younger generation. Young generations, especially students, need to understand more clearly the history of Vietnam-Laos relations. You need to take responsibility for contributing to, nurturing, and developing Vietnam-Laos relations in the future to truly live up to the relationship of 'a bond deeper than the Red River and the Mekong River'."
