After more than 2 hours of performance, 7 bands from 7 high schools brought impressive, colorful and emotional performances to the final round of the 2nd Hanoi High School Band/Music Group Festival - 2025, with the theme "Building Happy Schools".
The program is organized by the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training in coordination with Hanoi Radio and Television Station every two years.
The festival took place on the evening of April 28 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Cultural Palace with the participation of Party Central Committee member, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha; Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi. The event also had the presence of UNESCO Representative in Vietnam, Mr. Jonathan Wallace Baker.

The festival is a practical activity and an opportunity for students to exchange and learn, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere in schools, contributing to building a cultural environment in schools, meeting the comprehensive educational requirements for students.
This is also a useful playground for students with musical talent and passion; discovering and nurturing musical talents according to the orientation of the 2018 General Education Program, contributing to promoting the image of Hanoi students as dynamic, youthful and rich in cultural traditions.


The Organizing Committee awarded 6 Special Prizes, 21 Third Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 2 First Prizes and 1 Special Prize to the bands.
Of which, 2 First prizes were awarded to the bands of Viet Duc High School and Olympia Middle and High School.
5 Second prizes were awarded to bands from high schools: Hanoi - Amsterdam High School; Phan Huy Chu - Dong Da High School; Binh Minh High School; Chu Van An High School; Phan Dinh Phung High School.

Notably, the Olympia Middle and High School band was also awarded the Special Prize of this year's festival when it was invited to perform at the International Music Festival in Ho Chi Minh City in 2025.
