Accordingly, the target for grade 6 at Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School this year is 350 students , equivalent to 10 classes.

The admission subjects are students who have completed primary school in Ho Chi Minh City, with a score of 9 or higher in the final exam of Vietnamese and math in grade 5.

Parents can access and register their children to participate. Admission to grade 6 of Tran Dai Nghia Secondary and High School at : https://www.thcsthpttrandainghia.edu.vn .

After filling out the registration information, the system will send the survey registration file to the email address of the parent who registered.

Parents download the application, print, sign and attach a photo of the student (3x4 photo, wearing school uniform) to bring with them when receiving the survey attendance card at school .

Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training will recruit students by survey method to test and evaluate students' abilities.

Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, informed that students will take a competency test. on June 16 for 90 minutes and consists of 2 parts:

• Multiple choice section: 20 multiple choice questions (to be completed in 30 minutes);
• The essay section (60 minutes) consists of 3 parts:

- English proficiency test (listening, reading, writing): Students take the test in English;

- Survey of mathematical ability and logical thinking: Students do the test in Vietnamese;

- Reading comprehension and writing skills test: Students do the test in Vietnamese.
