The legend of Tac Tinh waterfall is a touching love story, associated with the majestic waterfall of the same name, located in the mountains and forests of the Northwest. The story tells about the eternal love of a Dao couple, Ly Phan and Lo Lan.
Lo Lan: A beautiful girl, good at singing, compared to a wild orchid. Ly Phan: A poor, orphaned boy, talented at playing the flute. Lo Lan and Ly Phan fell in love passionately. Their love was hindered by prejudice and harm from bad people. To keep her vow, Lo Lan threw herself into a waterfall. Ly Phan, in pain, also jumped into the waterfall with her lover. Their love turned into the Tac Tinh waterfall, flowing forever, symbolizing eternal love.
