On October 28th, the Miss Grand International (MGI) organization announced that it had stripped the second runner-up title from the representative of Myanmar, Thae Su Nyein.
According to the organizers, this decision was made after discovering inappropriate behavior from the contestant, as well as violations of several competition rules. However, the organizers have not yet released specific details about these violations.
Thae Su Nyein impressed and won the title of 2nd Runner-up at Miss Grand International 2024 in the recently held final. This is considered a significant achievement for the Myanmar representative on the international beauty pageant stage, given that she is only 18 years old.
