TPO - According to information from Phu Quoc Express Joint Stock Company - the unit operating the Thang Long high-speed ferry running on the Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao route, the company said that the company will temporarily stop transferring passengers from the center of Ho Chi Minh City to Saigon - Hiep Phuoc port (Nha Be district) and vice versa for passengers traveling on the Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao route.
According to the latest announcement from Phu Quoc Express, from June 1, the company will temporarily stop transferring passengers from 23/9 Park (District 1) to Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port. The reason given by Phu Quoc Express is that during the process of putting into operation the sea route Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao, in the first period, the company organized free transfers for passengers on the high-speed train route Ho Chi Minh City - Con Dao (for customers in need and registered in advance) to facilitate passengers' travel from the city center to Saigon - Hiep Phuoc Port and vice versa.

“However, due to lack of experience in organizing road transport activities, during the process of organizing the transfer, the company encountered shortcomings and limitations that caused misunderstandings among passengers in the transfer process. That led to a number of incidents in the transfer process on May 16 and affected the company's main business of sea transport,” said the Phu Quoc Express document.
According to the company, Phu Quoc Express has now cooperated with a number of road transport companies to connect with passengers and carry out transportation professionally at a reasonable fee. Therefore, from June 1, Phu Quoc Express will temporarily stop providing free passenger transfers at 23/9 Park.
