Honoring 27 outstanding ethnic minority youth

On the evening of October 24, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held a ceremony to honor exemplary and prestigious young people, successful start-ups in ethnic minority mountainous areas in the Central Highlands by 2025.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union; Nguyen Kim Quy, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Central Youth and Children's Affairs Committee, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Youth Union.

On the side of Dak Lak province, there were comrade Y Giang Gry Nie Knong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and sectors, and more than 500 youth union members in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam, Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Youth Union emphasized: Ethnic minority youth today not only inherit the tradition of solidarity but are also the pioneering force in labor, production, study, entrepreneurship and preserving cultural identity. The typical faces honored this time are a source of pride and inspiration to encourage the young generation to continue to strive, assert themselves and contribute more to the community, homeland and country.

Comrade Nguyen Tuong Lam expressed his hope that each young person will raise their sense of responsibility, nurture their aspirations, promote their youth, intelligence and creativity; turn their dreams into practical actions, contribute to socio -economic development, maintain security, order and cultural identity where they live. The Central Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union will always be a reliable companion, fueling the fire of will, determination and aspiration so that young people in all parts of the country have the opportunity to rise up, assert themselves, and join hands in building a rich, beautiful and civilized country.

At the program, the Central Youth Union Secretariat awarded Certificates of Merit to 27 outstanding and prestigious ethnic minority youths who are shining examples in studying, working, producing and successfully starting a business in ethnic minority and mountainous areas by 2025.

The ceremony is a meaningful activity, contributing to spreading good values, honoring the spirit of striving of the youth of all ethnic groups; at the same time affirming the role of youth in the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland, sustainable socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in particular and the whole country in general.
