Public art work “Metis - 5am Hanoi wakes up”.
Immediately after the commercial operation button pressing ceremony, the delegates performed the ceremony of attaching the plaque to the project commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024). Next, the leaders of Hanoi city received the public art work "Metis - Hanoi wakes up at 5 am" by artist Nguyen Xuan Lam, which was carried out with the support of the French Government, especially the French Development Agency (AFD). The work is located at S8 station (Cau Giay), bringing a folk atmosphere to the new urban space. Inspired by the design of Hanoi's early 20th century trams, the work depicts a massive fossil train car made from more than 15,000 ceramic pieces with a height of more than 2.8m and a width of more than 3.5m in a melting state, evoking associations with the phenomenon of global warming.
