The People's Court of Region 11 was established on the basis of merging and inheriting the functions, tasks and powers of the People's Courts of the old Lang Chanh and Quan Son districts. The area for settling cases of the unit has a large area of ​​1,530 square kilometers, including 14 communes, including 7 border communes, the distance from the headquarters to residential areas is over 100 kilometers in some places. Traffic conditions in the area are still difficult, often suffering from flash floods, landslides, the rate of poor households is still high, the educational level of the people is uneven, causing many difficulties in the work of accepting and settling cases. Meanwhile, according to the provisions of law, from July 1, the jurisdiction of the regional court to settle cases has increased, including complicated cases, which were under the jurisdiction of the provincial court before July 1. In addition, when established and put into operation, the unit encountered many difficulties in terms of facilities and working equipment. The team of judges and court clerks who directly handle and resolve cases all have to work far from home...

Judge Vu Van Nga, Chief Justice of the People's Court of Region 11, said: In the context of many challenges and difficulties, the Party cell and leaders of the unit have focused on leading and directing the professional organization to synchronously and resolutely implement solutions, clearly assigning people, tasks, progress, responsibilities, and areas, not allowing interruptions or delays in accepting and resolving cases. Implementing in a substantial and practical manner the emulation movements "For Justice" associated with the slogan and motto of the Provincial People's Court: "Promoting the tradition of solidarity, responsibility, discipline, for justice; civil servants, public employees and employees of the People's Court are united, creative, and strive to excellently complete the tasks of 2025; making achievements to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Court's tradition and celebrate major holidays and important events of the country". Through that, it aims to motivate and encourage cadres, civil servants and workers to strive to "serve the public, follow the law, be fair and impartial", and exceed assigned targets and tasks.

To effectively organize emulation movements by topic and the sprint emulation period, the leaders of the People's Court of Region 11 have assigned trial and case resolution targets to each judge. Regularly hold periodic and ad hoc meetings to grasp progress, promptly remove obstacles and difficulties, and speed up the progress of case resolution. Focus on organizing experience-sharing sessions on many types of cases with different natures and levels of complexity to enhance expertise and professionalism in the context of expanded case resolution authority according to the law. Promote the application of information technology, digital transformation, and implement solutions to build electronic courts according to the Party's judicial reform policy. At the same time, proactively coordinate with prosecution agencies and local authorities in collecting records, evaluating evidence, applying the law, promptly bringing cases to trial and resolution, ensuring progress and quality.

In addition, the Party Committee and leaders of the People's Court of Region 11 have focused on political and ideological education, promoting the spirit and responsibility of setting an example for officials and civil servants holding judicial positions, especially leaders in performing their assigned duties and tasks. Regularly maintaining the flag-raising ceremony on the first Monday morning of the month. Paying attention to organizing preliminary and final summaries of emulation campaigns in a practical, impartial and objective manner, taking the level of completion of professional tasks as the basis for evaluating and considering titles.

On that basis, judges and court clerks have promoted their spirit, responsibility, enthusiasm, love for the profession, working on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays to speed up the progress of work settlement, contributing with the People's Court of Region 11 to exceed the assigned targets and tasks. According to the report, in the working year 2025 (from October 1, 2024 to September 30, 2025), the unit has resolved 421 out of 435 cases, reaching a rate of 96.7%. The remaining cases are within the settlement deadline. Notably, the court has resolved 268 cases out of 279 civil cases, reaching a rate of 96.1%, far exceeding the target assigned by the National Assembly . Of which, the number of successful conciliation cases accounts for 70.5% of the total number of civil cases resolved. This result affirms the great effort and determination of the People's Court of Region 11 in the context of many challenges and difficulties. Through that, it has made an important contribution to meeting the requirements of crime prevention and control, ensuring the rule of law, maintaining border security and social order and safety in the area.
