In addition to the doctor of the Vietnamese women's team, 3 members representing the team including goalkeeper Tran Thi Kim Thanh, center back Le Thi Diem My and striker Pham Hai Yen went to the Fatherland Front Committee of Khuong Dinh ward, Thanh Xuan, Hanoi . On behalf of the whole team, goalkeeper Kim Thanh personally handed over 40 million VND to the representative of the Fatherland Front Committee of the ward. This is the heart of coach Mai Duc Chung and his team before the painful passing of the victims and the extreme pain that the families had to endure.

Joining hands to help the victims, the Vietnam Olympic team before departure welcomed Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai - former Vice Chairman of District 1 People's Committee (HCMC) and Mr. Nguyen Dang Van, the brave "warrior" who saved more than 10 people in the mini apartment fire in Hanoi in the early morning of September 13. Here, the members of the Vietnam Olympic team signed their jerseys, to auction with Mr. Doan Ngoc Hai. All proceeds will be used to support the families of the victims in the fire, as well as charity activities. Meanwhile, midfielder Pham Duc Huy also donated 5 million VND to the account of the Fatherland Front Committee, hoping that the victims will have more strength to overcome difficulties.

Returning to the Vietnamese women's team, the entire team is training at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center to prepare for the 19th Asian Games. After a training trip in Hai Phong , coach Mai Duc Chung and his students are completing the final preparations in Vietnam, before leaving for China to participate in the tournament on September 19.

The Vietnamese women's team is in Group D with Nepal, Bangladesh and Japan. In this group, the Japanese women's team is still considered the strongest opponent and is also a candidate for this year's gold medal. The goal of the Vietnamese women's team is to finish second in the group. At the 19th Asian Games, coach Mai Duc Chung and his team are expected to reach the quarter-finals.
