England player has 24 hours with girlfriend and wife to regain his spirit

On the night of June 20, England had a forgettable performance when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Denmark. The result has caused the entire team to receive much criticism from the domestic media.

After the match, in order to relieve the players' spirits, coach Gareth Southgate allowed them to enjoy 24 hours with their girlfriends and wives.

The Wags (girlfriends and wives) will be invited to the England squad's base at the Weimarer Land Spa & Golf Resort in Blankenhain, Germany. The Football Association (FA) has rented 94 rooms at a total cost of around £8,000 a night.
