Propaganda, dissemination and education of traffic safety laws and order

Attending the conference were: Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province Bui Duc Tho; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Minh Long district Lam Trong Diep; and 100 delegates who are Chairmen, Vice Chairmen, Heads of the Front Work Committee in villages and communes of Minh Long district.

At the conference, the reporters informed about the traffic accident situation in the province and district in the past time and some requirements and tasks of ensuring traffic order and safety from now until the end of 2024; disseminated and thoroughly grasped Directive 23-CT/TW dated May 25, 2023 of the Secretariat on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the new situation; Directive No. 10/CT-TTg dated April 19, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring road traffic order and safety in the new situation; Directive No. 23-CT/TU dated November 4, 2022 of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on strengthening the Party's leadership in ensuring traffic order and safety in the province.

The conference also discussed solutions to effectively implement propaganda and mobilization work for the entire population to participate in ensuring traffic safety and order, and shared experiences in building models of "Self-managed traffic safety teams" and "Self-managed roads".

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Bui Duc Tho requested the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the district to regularly disseminate Directive 23-CT/TW, Directive No. 10/CT-TTg, Directive No. 23-CT/TU... to coordinate with the police force to promote propaganda and mobilize people of all walks of life to actively participate in ensuring traffic order and safety; continue to innovate propaganda content and methods suitable to the target audience and residential areas.

According to the plan, in 2 days (from May 23 to 24), the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee will continue to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate traffic safety law and order 2024 for the Chairman, Vice Chairmen, and the Front Working Committee in Son Ha and Tu Nghia districts.
