Propaganda about the situation of sea and islands for people in Ninh Thuan province

On September 18, in Ninh Thuan province, the Naval Region 4 Command and the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department jointly organized a conference to inform and disseminate information about the situation of seas and islands in 2023. More than 400 delegates, who are key officials of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Ninh Thuan Provincial Women's Union, attended the conference.

Reporters from Naval Region 4 introduced topics on the position, role, and importance of Vietnam's seas and islands in the cause of national construction and defense, and new information on the situation in the East Sea. At the same time, they disseminated historical and legal grounds affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the seas and islands over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos; and the implementation of a number of tasks and solutions to overcome the European Commission's warning against illegal, unreported, and unregulated fishing.

In addition, inform and propagate the Party's viewpoints, policies and laws of the State in resolving maritime disputes and the results of resolving maritime border issues between Vietnam and related countries. Fight against the wrong and hostile viewpoints of hostile forces and reactionary organizations that take advantage of the East Sea issue and the relationship between Vietnam and countries related to the East Sea to sabotage us.

This information and propaganda campaign will take place for 5 days from September 18 to 22 for units in Ninh Thuan province including the Provincial Labor Federation, Provincial Women's Union, Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Police, Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Ninh Hai District Party Committee, Departmentof Education and Training.

In recent times, Naval Region 4 has regularly coordinated with the Propaganda Department of the Ninh Thuan Provincial Party Committee in carrying out propaganda work on seas and islands. Thereby, helping to raise awareness and responsibility of cadres, party members and people for the task of protecting the sovereignty of the seas and islands of the Fatherland. From there, contributing to building awareness and responsibility, strengthening the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people, promoting the combined strength of the great national solidarity bloc for the cause of building and protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining political security and safety of the seas and islands of the Fatherland.
