Accordingly, at the State Bank, the central exchange rate is listed at 24,948 VND/USD, up 20 VND compared to the morning of April 24. Thus, with a trading band of ±5% compared to the central exchange rate, the ceiling rate applied is 26,195 VND/USD and the floor rate is 23,701 VND/USD.
The reference exchange rate listed at the State Bank of Vietnam is 23,732 VND/USD (buy) and 26,124 VND/USD (sell).

At commercial banks, the exchange rate also increased following the central rate. Specifically, the VND/USD exchange rate listed at the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam ( Vietcombank ) increased by 21 VND in both buying and selling, to 25,835 VND/USD (buy) - 26,195 VND/USD (sell).
Similarly, the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam ( BIDV ) listed the USD exchange rate up 20 VND to 25,830 VND/USD (buy) - 26,190 VND/USD (sell).
Regarding the CNY exchange rate, Vietcombank adjusted the increase by 3 VND in both buying and selling compared to the morning of April 24, bringing the CNY exchange rate to 3,517 - 3,630 VND/CNY (buying - selling). Meanwhile, at BIDV, the CNY exchange rate increased slightly by 2 VND to 3,531 - 3,627 VND/CNY (buying - selling).
On the free market, the USD/VND exchange rate is at 26,350 - 26,450 VND/USD, up 16 VND for buying and down 4 VND for selling compared to April 24.
