In line with the flow of digital technology, 2/9 Import-Export Company Limited (Simexco DakLak) promotes the export of high-value agricultural products through digital transformation (DCT) with specific steps. The company has deployed a digital agricultural map for the coffee and pepper industries covering up to 50,000 farming households. At the Anuga 2025 International Fair recently held in Germany, Simexco DakLak introduced the VR 360 (virtual reality) experience to visitors, recreating the entire supply chain from farm to factory, from cultivation to processing. Each order can be traced back to the garden, transparent and trustworthy. Not stopping there, global customers can also access online to view product information, quality certificates and place orders directly on the digital platform, cared for 24/7 by AI Chatbot - creating convenience and instant connection.

Mr. Le Duc Huy, Chairman of the Board of Members of Simexco DakLak, said that digital transformation is not only a trend, but also an inevitable path for Vietnamese agricultural products to integrate more deeply into the global value chain. Simexco DakLak is proud to be a bridge to help Dak Lak agricultural products reach further, accompanying the province on the journey of building a digital economy and sustainable development, contributing to bringing the digital economy content to 30% of Dak Lak province's GRDP.

Recently, Dak Lak Provincial Post Office and Shanon Yunnan Company (China) officially signed a contract to export high-quality coffee to the Chinese market through a specialized agricultural e-commerce channel. According to Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung, Director of Dak Lak Provincial Post Office, the successful signing of the commercial cooperation agreement and the memorandum of understanding on product consumption with Shanon Yunnan Company is an important step, not only expanding the consumption market but also affirming the position of the Dak Lak coffee brand in the international market. What is special is that the transaction method is carried out entirely through e-commerce, using the nongsan.buudien.vn platform, which is owned and operated by Vietnam Post.

Having participated in many digital trade promotion programs and applied e-commerce platforms organized by the State, Khang Chau Phu Yen Bird's Nest Company Limited has now brought its products to many international customers. According to Mr. Pham Duy Khiem, Director of the company, putting products on e-commerce platforms is the right direction, helping the company's products quickly become known in the market, but it needs closer support from the local government. "We have put some bird's nest product lines on the platform, but have had difficulty promoting and maintaining stable orders. The company is looking forward to receiving in-depth training in online sales skills, using advertising tools and analyzing customer data. If there is a separate program for OCOP products or local specialties, we believe that the company will stand firm on the e-commerce platform," said Mr. Khiem.

In terms of support from the State, in recent years, departments, branches and localities in the province have paid attention to and promoted the work of building and perfecting institutions to create a favorable environment to promote digital transformation and support businesses in accessing the digital economy. In particular, supporting businesses and business households to bring products to e-commerce platforms has been of interest to departments and branches. The Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches have also developed many plans and implemented solutions to promote innovation, support digital transformation businesses, and gradually automate production processes as well as service provision.

In the trade and service sector alone, the Department of Industry and Trade has recently implemented many solutions to accelerate and promote digital transformation in production and business activities. In particular, it encourages commercial enterprises to innovate technology and apply technology to production, meeting the increasing needs of the people. At the same time, it strengthens support for enterprises to build and optimize websites for promotion, marketing, and participation in multi-channel sales systems in the online environment; opens training courses on the application of digital technology and artificial intelligence in production and product promotion.

Immediately after the success of the 1st Congress of Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, Dak Lak province has urgently deployed many key solutions to realize the target of 30% GRDP coming from the digital economy. Comrade Do Huu Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, determined: "The focus is determined to promote digital transformation in the agricultural sector, from cultivation, digital agricultural maps, application of artificial intelligence (AI), big data (Big Data) in supply chain management, to processing and commercialization of agricultural products".

On October 5, 2025, the Government issued Resolution No. 306/NQ-CP on adjusting the National Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. In particular, e-commerce is identified as one of the key economic sectors, playing a strategic role in the process of modernization and international economic integration; aiming to make Vietnam the second largest e-commerce center in Southeast Asia, after Indonesia.
