Delegates and artists visit works from the 2025 Creative Camp in Ta Xua.

As a land that still retains the wild and majestic beauty of the mountains and forests, along with the unique cultural features of the Mong ethnic group, Ta Xua was chosen as the location for this year's Creative Camp. During 10 days (from October 28 to November 6), 24 outstanding members from different fields went to remote villages and tourist sites of the commune to search for materials for their "brainchild".

The first destination of the artist group was Be village - the capital of ancient Shan Tuyet tea trees. Here, the group visited the economic model of Mr. Ho A Mang, the pioneer in developing the Hang Dong tea brand that meets OCOP standards, opening a sustainable way out of poverty for the people. Writer Bui Nguyen Luong, a member of the Literature Association, shared: Going through each village, touching the rough bark of ancient tea trees, witnessing life in Ta Xua, I further understood the resilient vitality of the people in the highlands. It was those everyday scenes that inspired me to write the essay "Ta Xua, the soul in the thousand-year-old tea leaves" or the poem "Mong people on the top of Ta Xua", along with 6 other works completed at this writing camp, with the desire to express gratitude to the people who are day and night protecting the forest, protecting the tea and preserving the soul of Mong culture.

Artists discuss works created after a field trip to Ta Xua commune.

Leaving the tea fields, the group of artists continued their journey to the Dinosaur's Back in Chong Tra village, known as a familiar meeting place for cloud hunters. Photographer Nguyen Minh Hai, author of the photo "Ta Xua in the clouds", shared: What I am most satisfied with on this trip is not only capturing the sea of clouds and majestic mountains, but also recording the vibrant life taking place here when tourism is developing day by day. Hopefully, our photos will contribute to promoting the image of Ta Xua to friends and tourists near and far.

After 10 days of searching for documents in Ta Xua commune, the Creative Camp ended with 80 works imbued with the breath of Ta Xua, with diverse genres, including: 25 literary works; 11 ethnic poetry works; 32 photographic works; 11 fine art works and 1 dance script. The works did not stop at describing the superficial beauty but went into deep analysis and philosophizing nature and people, between conservation and development.

Artist Le Chuong, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, emphasized: We highly appreciate the serious working spirit of the members in this creative campaign. The works are closely following the breath of life, truly reflecting the efforts to develop the economy and preserve the culture of Ta Xua. From now until the end of the year, the Association plans to organize two more creative camps, to create conditions for authors to have more creative environments, contributing many quality works.

The creative camp is an opportunity to foster and improve the creative capacity of the members of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, creating connections between specialized branches. Thereby, creating conditions for artists to create high-quality works of art, contributing to promoting and spreading the image of Ta Xua tourism.
