The 8th Provincial Veterans Association Executive Committee Conference

The 8th Executive Committee Conference, term VII, 2022-2027.

In 2025, the Veterans Association at all levels in the province will constantly innovate the content and methods of operation, organize and effectively implement the Association's programs and work plans. In particular, it will coordinate to organize 27 meetings, seminars, propaganda, and patriotism education for the young generation on the occasion of major national and local holidays, attracting more than 22,500 students to participate. Actively responding to the movement "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Association at all levels has eliminated 231 temporary and dilapidated houses for members, with a total value of 11.7 billion VND; well implementing the work of arranging and merging association organizations...

In 2026, the provincial Veterans Association at all levels will continue to effectively implement movements and activities, and propagate to members to promote the qualities and traditions of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", uphold the will and spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and actively strive to reduce poverty. Participate in educating the younger generation about patriotic traditions. Do a good job of foreign affairs with the Veterans Association of Northern Laos provinces, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels.

At the Conference, the results of organizing the Congress of War Veterans at the commune level and the preparation work for the 8th Congress of Delegates of the Provincial War Veterans Association, term 2025-2030 were reported. Accordingly, as of October 31, 2025, 75/75 War Veterans Associations at commune and ward levels had completed organizing the Congress.

In preparation for the Provincial Veterans Association Congress, the Provincial Veterans Association Standing Committee established sub-committees to assist, develop political reports, personnel plans... to submit to the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Central Vietnam Veterans Association for consideration and approval.

Delegates focused on discussing and proposing contents related to the summary report of the Association's work; review report of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Veterans Association in 2025.

Leaders of the Provincial Veterans Association presented certificates of merit to individuals.

On this occasion, the Provincial Veterans Association launched and signed an agreement to implement the emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" in 2026. The Provincial Veterans Association Executive Committee awarded certificates of merit to 21 collectives and 33 individuals with many achievements in implementing the patriotic emulation movement "Exemplary Veterans" in 2025.
