
On the morning of April 23, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association organized a summary of the poetry contest in Hong Linh Magazine with the theme "Ha Tinh - Journey and Aspiration"; a meeting to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Ha Tinh literature and arts after the country's reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang, provincial leaders of all periods, representatives of departments, branches and sectors attended.


Assessing 50 years of the province's literature and arts after the country's reunification, Chairman of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association Tran Nam Phong affirmed that from 1975 to present, Ha Tinh literature has developed rapidly in both quantity and quality. Literary genres are increasingly diverse, topics are expanded, and the public is more interested, loved, and read more.

The Ha Tinh artists' team focuses on the trend of patriotic inspiration, humanitarian inspiration, inspiration about nature, focusing on the themes of patriotism, humanity, deeply attached to the destiny of the nation and the country. Literature and art both meet the people's need to enjoy art and serve political tasks. The content of creation, creativity, and expression methods are more researched, innovated, diverse, and modern. The activities of popularizing, creating, and promoting works are increasingly rich, attracting the participation of many artists and people from all walks of life.
Along with the country's arts and culture, over the past 50 years, Ha Tinh's arts and culture have fulfilled their mission, focusing on political and social tasks, reflecting the country's innovation and development, preserving and promoting national cultural identity, contributing to building Vietnamese people in the new era.
Regarding the poetry contest in Hong Linh Magazine, launched in early July 2025 with the theme “Ha Tinh – Journey and Aspiration”. 9 months from the launch to the deadline for submissions, the contest has attracted the attention and response of many authors who are members, collaborators and poetry lovers across the country.
The Organizing Committee received 230 poetry works from 74 authors. In general, the entries adhered to the theme, the main inspiration was about the tradition, cultural identity, historical tradition, natural scenery, heritage of Ha Tinh land, the beauty in the personality, the temperament of Ha Tinh people, pride, love, and deep attachment to the homeland of hardship but deep affection. Some entries depicted the changes of the land with sincere emotions and deep reflections.
Among the 97 works of 38 authors selected for the final round, the Jury selected 12 outstanding works to award prizes, of which 2 B prizes (no A prizes) belonged to the authors: Poet Tran Chan Uy (with a collection of 2 poems: Lost in the homeland and La River) and poet Tran Kim Hoa (with a collection of 3 poems: The first autumn, The homeland's inch of land is exposed, Memory night). In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 3 C prizes and 7 consolation prizes.



Speaking at the closing ceremony, on behalf of the provincial leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung acknowledged and appreciated the dedicated, responsible and creative contributions of artists to the cause of building and developing the culture, people and homeland of Ha Tinh in the past time.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that in the coming time, the Association of Literature and Arts and artists should focus on building and developing the province's literature and arts commensurate with the potential, advantages, traditional cultural values and people of Ha Tinh, creating a driving force to maintain political stability, promoting the province's socio -economic development rapidly and sustainably.
The Provincial Literature and Arts Association continues to fully, promptly and effectively implement the Party's guidelines and resolutions, the State's policies and laws on literature and arts for the staff, members, collaborators and artists, especially Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU dated December 22, 2023 of the Provincial Party Committee on building and developing the culture and people of Ha Tinh in the new period. Building the Provincial Literature and Arts Association to truly become a common home, a place to gather the talents, enthusiasm and intelligence of the artists. The association must always be attached to, accompany, encourage and motivate artists in their work and creativity; synchronously implement innovative solutions, develop Ha Tinh literature and arts in the direction of richness, diversity, and identity, combining tradition with modernity; attach importance to discovering, training, fostering and developing young talents and talents in the field of culture and arts.
Promote socialization, encourage collection, research, preservation, dissemination and promotion of literary and artistic values; focus on developing, guiding and encouraging the masses to participate in creating and enjoying literature and art; advise and propose appropriate mechanisms and policies to encourage and mobilize maximum social resources, create the most favorable conditions for literary and artistic activities, contribute practically to ensuring the lives of artists; promptly commend, reward and honor collectives and individuals with high achievements in literary and artistic activities; unify and agree with the general policy of the Central Government and the province on arranging the organization of the political system.
