- Deployed from 2022 to present, the model of Saving yourself, reserving difficult tasks (the model deployed by the Van Quan District Party Committee to concretize Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle) has created a widespread influence, receiving enthusiastic response and support from a large number of cadres and party members in the area.

The Party cell secretary and head of Na Ban village, Dong Giap commune, uses a computer equipped with the fund from the Self-Saving model, reserving difficult tasks for work in the village.

To implement the model, each party member who is a cadre or civil servant working at agencies and units in the district saves at least 10,000 VND/month (parties in rural areas, depending on their conditions, can contribute in kind or working days) to raise funds to support communes that are striving to achieve new rural standards.

In 2022 and 2023, the model has initially received support from cadres and party members in the area. Specifically, in two years, cadres and party members working at agencies and units have saved more than 93 million VND. This amount has been given to the party committees of communes focusing on building new rural areas such as Trang Phai, Diem He, Binh Phuc, Lien Hoi with specific tasks such as building model residential areas, implementing village road lighting, etc.

Promoting the effectiveness of the model, in 2024, the District Party Committee's Propaganda Department will continue to advise the District Party Committee's Standing Committee to direct the replication of the model to all branches and affiliated Party Committees, attracting the attention and support of a large number of cadres, Party members and people in the area.

According to statistics, in 2024, implementing the model, cadres and party members of 37 branches and party committees of the district saved more than 72 million VND. In particular, if in 2022 and 2023, the participants in the model were mainly cadres and party members working in agencies and units, in 2024, all party members including party members working in agencies and units and party members in rural areas and party members in residential areas will participate in contributing to the fund.

From the model, grassroots party committees have implemented many meaningful tasks such as supporting communes in building new rural areas, supporting families in difficult circumstances or equipping computers for village and neighborhood party committees in the area. Since the beginning of the year, 108/121 village and neighborhood party committees have been equipped with computers from the fund of the self-saving model, reserving difficult tasks. This is also the first district to carry out this practical task.

Typically, in Dong Giap commune, more than 200 party members of the commune have contributed more than 24 million VND from the model fund to support computer equipment for villages in the area. Along with the fund from the model awarded by the District Party Committee, currently 5/5 village party cells have been equipped with computers. Ms. Ha Thi Bong, Party cell secretary and head of Na Ban village, Dong Giap commune shared: Before there were no computers, to prepare documents for village meetings, we had to write by hand and then photocopy them to distribute to everyone, paper documents also had to be carefully arranged and preserved for many years. However, since June this year, after being equipped with computers, drafting, storing, sending and receiving documents has become faster, easier and more scientific. At the same time, thanks to computers, many jobs have become more convenient. For example, recently, to prepare for the great solidarity festival, the art troupe also used computers to research, practice, and perform their acts, contributing to the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the festival.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Tuan, Secretary of Van Quan District Party Committee, commented: The model of saving for oneself and reserving difficult tasks has significantly contributed to raising awareness and responsibility of cadres and party members in learning and following Uncle Ho, specifically saving and building funds to carry out meaningful tasks. It can be affirmed that after nearly 3 years of implementing the model, it has received more and more support and enthusiastic response from cadres and party members, thereby implementing many practical tasks, bringing benefits to the grassroots.

Promoting the achieved results, in the coming time, the District Party Committee will continue to maintain and spread the model, multiplying practical and meaningful actions. Thereby, gradually raising the awareness and responsibility of each cadre and Party member in studying and following Uncle Ho, contributing to effectively implementing the socio-economic development goals in the area.
