Bac Ninh province officially launched two free tours , taking tourists and locals to explore local destinations on two weekends.

On March 7, Mr. Nguyen Van Dap, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Bac Ninh province, approved a plan to organize free tours in 2025.
The purpose is to serve people and tourists with practical experiences at tourist attractions, traditional craft villages, typical historical and cultural relics of the locality, as well as attract domestic and foreign tourists.
Specifically, the locality will launch 2 tours in 3 months on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) starting from March 8 to the end of June this year.

On each route, visitors will travel by 45-seat vehicle to visit the following locations:
- Tour 1: Bac Ninh Museum - But Thap Pagoda - Dau Pagoda - Dong Ho Painting Village - Do Temple - Nam Hong Royal Museum - Bac Ninh Museum.
- Tour 2: Bac Ninh Museum - Phat Tich Pagoda - Kinh Duong Vuong Mausoleum - Phu Lang Pottery Village - Nguyen Cao Temple - Dien Quang Pagoda - Bac Ninh Museum.
In total, the locality organizes 4 tours/day, each tour has 2 cars.
Departure time on 2 days from 8:00 to 17:30. Meeting point is Bac Ninh Museum (Ly Thai To Street, Suoi Hoa Ward, Bac Ninh City).
According to Mr. Dap, funding for the plan will be drawn from the state budget allocated to the province in 2025.

The document dated March 7 clearly stated that the above plan will have the coordination of a number of departments and branches, including:
- Department of Construction: Prepare and arrange enough vehicles (4 vehicles/day) to pick up and drop off tourists according to the planned schedule (45-seat vehicle).
- Department of Finance: Appraise the budget and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for funding to implement the program.
- Bac Ninh Museum and Tourism Promotion in coordination with the Department of Tourism Management and the Department of Cultural Management: Develop plans, estimate costs...
- People's Committees of districts, towns and cities with destinations according to the program: Direct units, localities, Management Boards of tourist attractions, historical sites, and craft villages to prepare well the conditions (assign permanent staff, environmental sanitation, security and order...) at the scheduled locations.
Previously, Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province Vuong Quoc Tuan directed departments and branches to advise the province to organize 2 free tours (sample tours) to suggest, orient and encourage travel businesses to exploit traditional cultural and artistic heritage factors to build tourism products.

Along with that, support 14 tourist destinations in the province to synchronize tools, environmental sanitation facilities and synchronize the sign system to ensure environmental sanitation, contributing to improving the landscape of the destination. Organize the installation of free wifi systems, install tourist information stations at 14 tourist destinations in the province and key relic sites.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province also assigned the Department of Construction to study and propose a pilot bus route connecting Hanoi (Long Bien Bridge) to typical tourist destinations in the province. Coordinate with the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to advise on arranging bus routes (free buses), implementing the theme "Journey to discover the heritage land of Bac Ninh" to support local people and tourists in the process of visiting typical historical-cultural relics in the province.
According to information from the Bac Ninh Provincial Electronic Information Portal, the locality has 14 tourist attractions, including 4 special national relics (including Dau Pagoda, But Thap Pagoda, Phat Tich Pagoda, the Tomb and Temple of the Ly Dynasty Kings) and 10 provincial historical relics. During the Lunar New Year, the number of visitors to Bac Ninh is estimated at about 90,000. Room occupancy rate is 40-45%. |
