[Video] Under the glorious flag: The 1st National Party Congress – A milestone in the restoration and unification of the revolutionary movement

Taking place from March 28 to 31, 1935 in Macau (China), the First National Congress of the Party marked an important step in the restoration of the Party organization, unifying the revolutionary movement in the country and determining a new direction of struggle.

The First Party Congress took place in the context of the revolutionary movement gradually recovering.

The Congress affirmed the Party's unified leadership role with three key tasks: consolidating and developing the Party, winning over the broad masses, and fighting against imperialist war.

Comrade Le Hong Phong was elected General Secretary , opening a new phase for the Vietnamese revolution.
