[Video] “People's happiness” is the measure for all policies and strategies

At this time, people across the country are particularly interested in learning and contributing their dedicated and quality opinions to the draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress. This is an important political event, deciding the development of the country in the coming period.

Studying the draft document submitted to the 14th National Party Congress, Mr. Pham Van Huan - Deputy Director of Hai Duong General Hospital, Hai Phong City was particularly impressed when in this draft the element of "happiness" was included in the theme of the 14th National Party Congress; setting "people's happiness" as the measure for all policies and strategies.

The draft also emphasizes the central role of people in development. It does not stop at increasing income, but also aims at comprehensive development of Vietnamese people in terms of intelligence, morality, physical strength, spirit and life skills.

The World Happiness Report 2025 shows that Vietnam's Happiness Index increased by 37 places, from 83rd in 2020 to 46th in 2025. The inclusion of happiness in the draft document submitted to the 14th National Party Congress is highly appreciated by the people of the whole country, especially with expectations and trust in all policies of the Party and State.
