This year's conference brings together 2,500 delegates, including many leaders, senior officials as well as many researchers and scholars from more than 100 countries in and outside the region.
The conference has the theme "Conflict, competition, cooperation, creation", which mainly revolves around issues of war and peace, technological development, democracy, reform of multilateralism...
Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet attended the meetings and spoke at the session “De-securitizing development issues: enhancing self-reliance in the Indo-Pacific”.

Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet commented: in the context of the world and the region having many hot spots and conflicts, intertwined with non-traditional security challenges, complicated developments in the East Sea situation and serious threats from climate change and unsustainable use of natural resources in the Mekong sub-region have posed challenges to sustainable development and maintaining long-term peace and stability in the region. Thereby, it opens up a new message for the Indo-Pacific region, not only a strategic competition area between major countries but also a place where countries work together to cooperate multilaterally for peace, stability and join hands to respond to common challenges.
The Deputy Minister emphasized that Vietnam and ASEAN are committed to building that message together, through creating a self-reliant and inclusive community network, where all countries can develop in peace, stability and sustainable development, while promoting the important role of multilateral cooperation, constructive dialogue and prosperity for all.
At the Raisina Dialogue 2024, discussions continued to focus on the themes of the G20 initiatives under India’s Presidency in 2023, thereby demonstrating India’s active role in promoting cooperation with the developing South as well as cooperation in the two hemispheres. The content of the Dialogue focused on assessing the security and economic challenges facing the world and emphasized the importance of cooperation, dialogue, trust building, respect for international law and multilateralism, including promoting UN reforms.
Within the framework of attending the Conference, Deputy Minister Do Hung Viet had bilateral meetings with Polish Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Wladyslaw Teofil Bartoszewski, Norwegian Deputy Foreign Minister Andreas Motzfeldt, Secretary General of the European Union (EU) External Action Service Stefano Sannino and Director General of the Australian Intelligence Agency Andrew Shearer. At the meetings, the Deputy Minister and his partners focused on discussing bilateral relations and regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Raisina Dialogue is an annual conference organized by the Observer Research Foundation (ORF) since 2016, is India's leading prestigious multilateral forum bringing together senior officials, experts, scholars, and managers to discuss geopolitical and geo-economic issues.
