Associate Professor Dr. Le Minh Ha, Executive Director of the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, said that the National Key Program for Mathematics Development in the 2021-2030 period has created a number of highlights. International cooperation activities are increasingly expanding; Vietnam has become a familiar address for international scientists .

“International cooperation activities are very busy, on the one hand showing the enhanced position of Vietnamese Mathematics, on the other hand contributing to improving the quality of research and teaching in the country,” said Mr. Ha.

Mr. Ha added that in 2025, there will be many major international activities such as: Meeting of the London Mathematical Society (held for the first time abroad and selected at the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics, Hanoi , Vietnam); Conference of the Federation of Applied Mathematics and Industrial Mathematics Associations...

In particular, in 2027, Vietnam was chosen to host the International Conference on Mathematical Physics. This is a very prestigious international conference, with a scale of nearly 1,000 people, with the participation of many leading mathematicians and physicists in the world .

Another highlight lies in the expansion of scale and quality of training in the field of mathematical sciences.

At the same time, the Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics has also built a great reputation in the Mathematics community at home and abroad.

According to Mr. Ha, one of the greatest achievements is the connection, spirit of support and cooperation between the community of researchers, university lecturers and mathematics education researchers, high school mathematics teachers; between schools - institutes and the state and businesses.
