During the 2020 - 2023 term, the Board of Directors (BOD) and the Board of Management of VPF have achieved many remarkable achievements in the company's activities in general, as well as in the management, organization and operation of national professional football tournaments in particular. This is truly a journey to overcome countless difficulties and challenges after the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on all aspects of social life, including sports and football activities.
With its highest role and responsibility, VPF Company has worked with clubs and partners to find solutions to overcome difficulties. In particular, the company has proactively implemented management and operation work to meet the requirements set out in the new situation, gradually consolidating operations when the pandemic passes and soon bringing the tournaments back to normal. VPF Company and the tournament organizers have always listened to the opinions and contributions of clubs and local organizers, in order to promptly resolve existing problems and difficulties, ensuring harmonious adjustments to bring fairness and equality to the teams.

After the 2021 season had to be suspended midway, professional football tournaments were operated throughout the 2022 and 2023 seasons with many outstanding successes, in which the important highlight was the transition season (2023) to prepare for the plan to convert the season's organization time frame to synchronize with the competition time frame of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
In particular, from the 2023 season, VPF and FPT Play officially entered into a comprehensive strategic cooperation in communications, television, and commercial exploitation. This cooperation contributes to creating strong changes in the communications and television work of tournaments as well as breakthroughs in exploiting commercial rights of tournaments in the Vietnamese professional football system.
With close guidance from relevant ministries and departments, VFF, along with the initiative and determination of the entire apparatus, VPF has joined hands to make efforts so that for the first time in the history of Vietnamese football, VAR technology will be officially applied in the national football championship from the end of the 2023 season. This event marks an important turning point, contributing to the development and enhancement of the image of national football.
V-League is getting more and more attractive
The VPF General Meeting of Shareholders approved important documents: report on the activities of the Board of Directors for the 2020-2023 term and the direction of activities for the 2023-2026 term; report on the company's operations and business results for the 2020-2023 term and the company's direction of business activities for the 2023-2026 term; report on the activities of the Board of Supervisors in 2022; report on the approval of the audited financial statements for 2022; report on the selection of an auditing company for the 2023 fiscal year; report on the authorization of the General Meeting of Shareholders to the Board of Directors to decide on a number of issues under the authority of the General Meeting of Shareholders; report on the election of members of the Board of Directors...
According to the financial report, in 2021, VPF's total revenue was 55 billion 332 million VND, total expenditure was 55 billion 186 million VND, profit was more than 145 million VND. In 2022, VPF's total revenue was 111 billion 70 million VND, total expenditure was 108 billion 686 billion VND, profit was 2 billion 375 million VND. In 2023, the total revenue is expected to be 137 billion 700 million VND, total expenditure is 137 billion 500 million VND, profit is 200 million VND.
VPF sets out a spending plan for 2024: revenue is 132 billion 400 million VND, expenses are 129 billion 700 million VND, profit is 2 billion 700 million VND.
The congress continued to elect Mr. Tran Anh Tu to hold the position of Chairman of VPF.
