During the 2020-2023 term, the Board of Directors and the General Management Board of VPF achieved many significant milestones in the company's overall operations, as well as in the management, organization, and operation of national professional football leagues. This was truly a journey overcoming countless difficulties and challenges following the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on all aspects of social life, including sports and football.
With its highest role and responsibility, VPF Company, together with the clubs and partners, has found solutions to overcome difficulties. Specifically, the company has proactively implemented management and operational measures to meet the requirements of the new situation, gradually consolidating operations after the pandemic subsides and quickly bringing the leagues back to normal. VPF Company and the league organizers have always listened to feedback from clubs and local organizing committees to promptly resolve existing issues and ensure harmonious adjustments that bring fairness and equality to all teams.

After the 2021 season was temporarily suspended, professional football leagues operated continuously throughout the 2022 and 2023 seasons with many outstanding successes, the highlight being the transitional season (2023) to prepare for the plan to switch the season schedule to be synchronized with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) schedule.
In particular, starting from the 2023 season, VPF Company andFPT Play officially entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership on media, television, and commercial exploitation. This collaboration has contributed to significant changes in media and television coverage of tournaments, as well as breakthroughs in the exploitation of commercial rights for tournaments within the Vietnamese professional football system.
With close guidance from relevant ministries and departments, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), along with the proactive and determined efforts of the entire VPF (Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company), have worked together to ensure that for the first time in the history of Vietnamese football, VAR technology is officially applied to the national football championship from the end of the 2023 season. This event marks a significant turning point, contributing to the development and enhancement of the image of Vietnamese football.

According to the financial report, in 2021, VPF's total revenue was 55.332 billion VND, total expenses were 55.186 billion VND, and profit was over 145 million VND. In 2022, VPF's total revenue was 111.07 billion VND, total expenses were 108.686 billion VND, and profit was 2.375 billion VND. In 2023, projected total revenue is 137.7 billion VND, total expenses are 137.5 billion VND, and profit is 200 million VND.
VPF has set its spending plan for 2024: revenue of 132.4 billion VND, expenses of 129.7 billion VND, and profit of 2.7 billion VND.
