On the afternoon of November 28, Khanh Hoa Border Guard informed that rescue forces had found one of the three fishermen missing in the sinking of a boat near Binh Tien beach. The victim was identified as Mr. NTT (33 years old, residing in Dong Hai ward).
Immediately after finding the victim’s body, the forces continued to expand the search area, scanning the area around the sunken ship and the surrounding waters. Despite the bad weather at sea and the continuous high waves, the rescue work was still maintained throughout.
Human resources and means were mobilized with a spirit of urgency and determination, not leaving out any suspicious areas in order to quickly find the remaining two fishermen.

As reported by SGGP Newspaper, on the evening of November 27, fishing boat NT90329TS, captained by Mr. NVT (49 years old, residing in Dong Hai ward), was sunk by large waves in Binh Tien sea area, about 300m from shore. On board were 5 fishermen fishing with trawl nets; 2 of them swam safely to shore.
Upon receiving the news, the Binh Tien Working Group under Vinh Hai Border Guard Station (Khanh Hoa Border Guard) promptly dispatched a high-speed canoe with 6 officers and soldiers to the scene; coordinated with Binh Ba Border Guard Station, local authorities and fishing boats operating near the area to organize the search.
