Suspected "low quality" milk case: Another kindergarten stops using Gold Life Grow Plus product

Mr. Dang Quyet Thang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Oai Commune, Hanoi, said: "Recently, Dong Quang Kindergarten in the commune has stopped using Gold Life Grow Plus in snacks for preschool children."

Regarding the incident, Chu Minh Kindergarten (Quang Oai, Hanoi ) used "Gold Life Grow Plus - Nutritional supplement formula" in 2 snacks for preschool children, causing parents to worry. The reason for concern is because this product is a "strange milk", rarely appearing on the market and doubting its quality, so parents requested the school to change to another product.

Gold Life Grow Plus product is distributed by Thu Giang Construction and Trading One Member Co., Ltd. to a number of kindergartens in Quang Oai commune.

In addition to Chu Minh kindergarten children, children studying at Dong Quang kindergarten, Tay Dang kindergarten... also use the above product in their snacks at school.

Speaking to a reporter from the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Mr. Dang Quyet Thang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Oai Commune, Hanoi, said: "Recently, Dong Quang Kindergarten in the commune has stopped using Gold Life Grow Plus in snacks for preschool children."

According to Mr. Dang Quyet Thang, Ms. Dang Thi Ngan, Principal of Dong Quang Kindergarten, reported to the leaders of the Commune People's Committee about the issue of using "milk" in children's snacks.

"The school's parents initially planned to switch to pumped milk. But on October 31, the parents agreed to temporarily stop giving their children "milk" as snacks," informed the Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Oai commune.

According to statistics of Dong Quang Kindergarten, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school has 258/258 children attending school. Of which, the number of children aged 25-36 months is 76, the number of children aged 3-4 is 42, there are 66 children aged 4-5 and the remaining 74 children are aged 5-6.

At a meeting with reporters from the Vietnam Women's Newspaper, Ms. Phuong Thi Bich Lien, Principal of Chu Minh Kindergarten, said: "Because parents searched for information online but could not find the product. Parents asked milk stores and milk distributors, they did not know about this product. Parents discussed with the school, the school explained that 'the teachers cannot confirm' the quality, the superior agency must test whether this milk is good or bad. If parents do not feel secure, they will switch to a familiar product."

In particular, Ms. Phuong Thi Bich Lien affirmed that the change in milk comes from the parents' needs.

Thus, up to now, 2 kindergartens in Quang Oai commune, Hanoi (including Chu Minh Kindergarten and Dong Quang Kindergarten) have stopped using the product "Gold Life Grow Plus - Formulated nutritional supplement".
