The project to build and operate infrastructure of Tam Nong Industrial Cluster has an area of 75 hectares, involving 531 households, individuals and 1 organization whose land is recovered, the project implementation location is in the old Van Xuan commune and the old Lam Son commune, now Van Xuan commune, Phu Tho province.

The compensation and site clearance work has been implemented by Tam Nong district (old) since June 2023. The project implementation process has basically received the consensus of the people in the area and has been carried out in accordance with the provisions of law. The People's Committee of Tam Nong district (old) has issued a decision approving the compensation, support, resettlement plan and land recovery decision in 14 phases, of which the old Van Xuan commune has 10 phases, the old Lam Son commune has 4 phases, the total approved area is 67.03 hectares of 515 households and individuals.

Up to now, compensation has been paid to 443 households, with an area of ^498,867m2 , reaching 66.5% with an amount of more than 63 billion VND. Of which, the old Van Xuan commune has 360 households, the old Lam Son commune has 82 households. There are still problems with 88 households that have not cleared the land, with an area of ^251,133m2 , accounting for 33.5%. Households have not agreed to the compensation plan, have not received compensation for the following reasons: The compensation support unit price is low; there are no instructions on the procedures for relocating graves in cases where households do not cooperate. It is expected that in the coming time, land will be forcibly recovered by 6 households, with an area of ^16,571.1m2 ; compulsory inventory will be conducted for 1 household that has not cooperated in the review.

At the press conference, leaders of Van Xuan commune and related agencies and units answered questions from press and media agencies about the process and plan for compulsory land inventory and compulsory land recovery; propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue with households and individuals whose land has been recovered.

The leaders of Van Xuan Commune People's Committee hope that the press agencies will continue to promote the significance of the project to the people, contributing to creating consensus on site clearance, creating favorable conditions for contractors to ensure construction progress and compliance with legal regulations.
