Verifying information about Vinh University lecturer sending sensitive videos, seducing students

Vinh University is reviewing information about students accusing lecturers of inappropriate behavior, with the view of taking strict action if there are violations.

After Khanh Vi's account posted on the group "Vinh University Students" accusing teacher Q. of molesting this female student, on the evening of May 28, another anonymous account continued to post on the group accusing teacher D. of inappropriate behavior, posting a screenshot of the conversation.

"He asked me out for coffee in the evening, to go drinking with him, invited me to walk around the lake... Moreover, Mr. D. also sent obscene pictures, 18+ videos ... ", this account shared.

According to the article, Mr. D. also threatened that if the student did not go, he would be subject to the highest level of disciplinary action. The student had to ask for help from the teachers in the department.

Regarding the above issue, on May 29, responding to VTC News Online Newspaper reporter, Vinh University leader said: "The school has grasped the information and is currently conducting a comprehensive review. The school's viewpoint is to handle violations as they are discovered and will publicly announce the results of the handling. Due to the large number of complaints, the information is distorted and unclear, so the school has asked the police to verify the sources of information."

Previously, on May 28, VTC News reported that an officer of the One-Stop Department of Vinh University was accused of molesting a female student when she came to request notarization of her transcript.

After the press reported, Vinh University temporarily suspended this officer to make a report on the information reflecting inappropriate behavior and words towards a female student at the school.
