On April 29, the leader of Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School (Quynh Luu District, Nghe An) said that this unit had sent an initial report to the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu District and other relevant agencies to handle the case of a parent assaulting a teacher at the school.

Earlier, at noon on April 29, a video clip was circulated on social media with information about a female teacher being assaulted by a parent. The video recorded a scene where a man grabbed the female teacher's hair and slapped her face many times. When people around discovered the incident, they came to stop it. However, the man refused to stop and forced the female teacher to stand in the rain and continued to assault her.

Through investigation, it is known that the incident happened at around 4:30 p.m. on April 28 at Bac Thang area school (Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School, Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district, Nghe An ).

Some people around came to stop him but the male parent did not stop his actions.

The teacher who was assaulted was Nguyen Thi Kim N. (homeroom teacher of a 3+4 combined class). The man who assaulted the teacher was Ha Van T. (born in 1985, parent of a 4th grade student at the school).

Accordingly, at around 4:30 p.m. on April 28, it was raining heavily, so after school, some teachers and students stayed at school waiting for their parents to pick them up. At this time, parent Ha Van T. suddenly rushed into the classroom door, loudly scolded and slapped Ms. N. in the face. This man then forced Ms. N. to stand in the rain in the middle of the school yard and continued to assault her.

After the incident, Tan Thang Primary and Secondary School made a report to Tan Thang Commune Police requesting investigation, verification and strict handling according to the law.

The leader of the Department of Education and Training of Quynh Luu district said that the unit is waiting for the police to verify the incident. The Department's viewpoint is to clarify and strictly handle those who commit acts of violence and assault on teachers, ensuring the safety of teachers.
