Build a team of Front cadres with heart, intelligence and high credibility

The Vietnam Fatherland Front is the core for the people to be masters, practice democracy, represent and protect the people's legitimate rights and interests; strengthen social supervision and criticism; and promote political and social activism. Therefore, the task of innovating the organizational apparatus and improving the capacity of the Vietnam Fatherland Front staff at all levels is extremely important.

The 15th Hai Phong City Fatherland Front Congress was attended by 279 official delegates representing all walks of life, classes, ethnic groups, religions, intellectuals, and businessmen in Hai Phong City.

According to the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front, the organization and full implementation of the functions, tasks and powers of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in accordance with the regulations of the Central Secretariat are associated with enhancing the advisory role for the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and Party Committees at all levels to strengthen the Party's leadership of the Front's work. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in Hai Phong City are built with reasonable composition and structure, truly a broad voluntary political alliance, representing the will and aspirations of the people.

In the coming term, the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front will continue to advise on the arrangement of the cadre apparatus at all levels to ensure scientific and effective organization according to the Party's Resolution and the direction of the City Party Committee. Proactively propose that competent authorities pay special attention to the recruitment, selection, assignment, use, training, fostering, and rotation of Front cadres at all levels. The Hai Phong City Fatherland Front will focus on building a team of 3T front cadres (with heart, intelligence, and high credibility) commensurate with the tasks of the Front as prescribed by the Constitution and law; expand and strongly promote the role of collaborators and part-time workers.

At the same time, the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front proposed solutions to improve the quality of the activities of the Front Working Committee; pilot the establishment of a Front Working Committee in apartment buildings where conditions permit; review and replicate self-management models in residential communities in a practical and effective manner.

In addition to improving the capacity of the Front's staff, the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front will also promote digital transformation to adapt to the digital society and digital government; ensure the regime, policies and operating conditions of the Fatherland Front at all levels.

Expressing her views on the targets set by the Hai Phong City Fatherland Front Congress for the next 5 years, in an interview with Dai Doan Ket reporter, Ms. Le Thi Lan, Chairwoman of the Hong Bang District Fatherland Front Committee (Hai Phong City) said that the Congress's setting of key targets is extremely important. "To complete these targets, with 6 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs, those working in the Hai Phong Fatherland Front need to focus on implementing drastic solutions throughout the term," Ms. Lan commented.

By the end of the term, Hai Phong strives for 100% of Front officials to receive professional training and work skills.
