Walking around the village, we saw that the lives of the people in Ma Li Pho commune have now developed more, with solid wooden and brick houses built close together; every house has a TV, a motorbike, and some even have cars. Ms. Ly Xa Dau - President of the Women's Union of Ma Li Pho commune said: "Having a clean and beautiful village with positive development like today is largely thanks to the awareness of the people in implementing the movement "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's". The Women's Union of the commune has developed a plan to implement it to the branches and linked the implementation of the movement with promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style and the emulation movement "Women actively study, work creatively, build happy families". Each year, the branches are assigned targets to help families that have not met the 8 criteria in the movement with specific tasks such as: helping each other with working days to build toilets, remove temporary houses; helping with trees, seeds, capital... Every year, each branch regularly maintains at least 1 type of activity to mobilize women to improve their knowledge, cultivate morality, and improve their health; 9/9 branches maintain cultural and artistic activities; in the commune, there are no cases of domestic violence. Thanks to that, by the end of 2024, 23 households had been helped to meet 8 criteria of the Campaign; 6 households escaped poverty. The average income of the whole commune reached 45 million/person/year, the poverty rate was still over 10%.
Vice President of Phong Tho District Women's Union Tong Thi Thom said: Implementing the campaign "Building a family of 5 no, 3 clean", the Standing Committee of the District Women's Union has developed a plan, guided 17/17 grassroots unions to register and carry out 1 project/part of the work in the 8 criteria of "5 no, 3 clean". Assigning targets and including them in the Resolution of the Congress of Women's Unions of communes and towns, each commune and town will help at least 5 more families of members and women to meet the criteria in the campaign in many forms such as: helping with working days, firewood, rice, money, loans, supporting plants, seeds, etc.
Implementing the “3 clean” criteria, all levels of the association are associated with the implementation of the program of building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. All levels of the association maintain the operation of women’s groups to collect waste periodically. Mobilize members and women to plant and care for flowers along the roadside; do not let livestock and poultry roam freely, build water tanks, and build toilets. At the same time, encourage and motivate members and women to donate land for rural roads, roads to production areas, and cultural houses.

In 2024, the District Women's Union supported Vang Bau village (Muong So commune) with 10 million VND to build a rural lighting grid; maintained the operation of 73 models of women's groups to collect waste, classify plastic waste, packaging, nylon bags, periodically once a month, in 2024, 373 sessions were organized with 30,533 members and women participating. 138 women's union member households donated land to build rural roads, roads to production areas, and cultural houses. Introduced 800 members and women to participate in vocational training classes; supported 1 pig farming livelihood model in Mu Sang commune. Supported 7,219 working days; 21,660 kg of rice, paddy; 5,520 baskets of firewood; Nearly 185 million VND in cash for poor members, members in difficult circumstances and members in times of difficulty and hardship. The District Women's Union manages 61 savings and loan groups and maintains the activities of 10 village savings and loan groups.
From the implementation of the campaign “Building a family of 5 no’s, 3 clean’s”, the Women’s Union at all levels has supported and helped 85 households escape poverty; 219 member and female households have met the 8 criteria of the campaign. Thereby, many exemplary members and women have emerged, contributing to building a prosperous, warm and happy family.
