Every weekend, Ms. Ho Thi Hoa and the villagers of Na Noi village, Ban Sen commune, Muong Khuong district, clean the village roads and alleys together and trim trees. The family's yard is also cleaned to create a better living environment. Ms. Hoa said: When the village announced on Zalo, on the day, we participated in cleaning the village roads and alleys to make them cleaner and more beautiful.

Mr. Tran Van Cuong, Secretary of the Party Cell of Na Noi Village, Ban Sen Commune, Muong Khuong District shared: “We attach great importance to environmental sanitation because it brings health to the people. We promote through village meetings and Zalo groups so that people clean their barns and pesticides must be collected in the right place for disposal.”

To maintain and improve the quality of environmental criteria, Ban Sen commune has implemented many appropriate solutions, including promoting the responsibility of political and social organizations to build and replicate environmental protection models, thereby creating a spreading effect among cadres, members and people.

Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ban Sen Commune, Muong Khuong District emphasized: "Together with the Party Committee and government, the Party cell secretaries, village chiefs, and heads of the Front's working committees have actively participated in propaganda work to cadres, party members, and people in the villages as well as in the commune."

Identifying that improving environmental quality and building landscapes play an important role in changing the face of the countryside, Muong Khuong district focuses on propagating and mobilizing people to develop production and livestock breeding in association with environmental protection; launching movements to improve village roads, alleys, offices, and schools; collecting and treating waste and building solid, standard sanitary facilities. Up to now, Muong Khuong has 2,204 households participating in the model of "clean house, beautiful garden", 4,800/9,853 households have barns that ensure environmental hygiene.

From appropriate and effective solutions, people's awareness of environmental protection has gradually become established, the rural landscape in the Muong Khuong highlands in particular and the province in general has been improved, and there are more and more livable countrysides.
