According to initial information, at around 6:10 a.m. the same day, a 30-seat school bus with license plate 81F-001.88 driven by Phan Dinh Du (born in 1968, residing in Binh Giao commune, Chu Prong district) was traveling from Duc Co district to Pleiku city.

This morning, the Gia Lai Provincial Department of Health issued an urgent dispatch to direct: Chu Prong District Medical Center; Provincial General Hospital; University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital - Hoang Anh Gia Lai; Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital, on receiving emergency care and treatment of traffic accident patients.

To ensure medical work to receive, provide emergency care and treatment for patients who are victims of traffic accidents. The Department of Health requires leaders of units to urgently deploy human resources, ensure adequate medicine, medical equipment, and consumables to focus on receiving, providing emergency care and treatment for victims of traffic accidents, and not to refuse or delay emergency care and treatment of patients.

The health of 14 students and the driver at Hung Vuong Gia Lai Hospital is basically stable.
