Xin Man: Effectiveness of the Project to Bring Traditional Culture into Schools

In 2013, Xin Man district began implementing the Project on Life SkillsEducation and bringing traditional culture into schools. After more than 10 years of implementation, the Project is bringing clear results, attracting a large number of students to participate in many rich and practical activities.

Schools have many forms of propaganda and education on life skills to ensure practicality.

100% of communes and schools in Xin Man district have implemented the project of life skills education and bringing traditional culture into schools. In particular, schools have had many forms of life skills education propaganda to ensure practicality, suitability to life, and mobilize a large number of students to participate. Up to now, Xin Man district has organized 39 training classes for 897 teachers, 195 training classes for students; organized the teaching of 599 topics with nearly 1,800 lessons; established 171 hobby clubs. From the lessons and participating in clubs, it has helped students become more confident and bold in all activities of the class, school as well as in daily life.
