Wood workshop in Hanoi burns fiercely at night

The fire broke out at around 8:30 p.m. on December 12 at a wood workshop located in Ban Giua village, Huu Bang commune, Thach That district, Hanoi .

At the time of the fire, there were many flammable objects inside the factory, so the fire quickly spread and engulfed the entire factory.

According to residents in the area, fire and smoke billowed from the 2-story house and quickly spread to the shops and woodworking workshops next door.

It is known that when the fire broke out, there were many explosions inside the factory.

After the incident, people shouted for help and used on-site equipment and water pumps to initially control the situation and report to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department of Thach That District Police mobilized dozens of officers and soldiers along with many fire trucks to urgently go to the scene.

Upon arriving at the scene of the fire, through reconnaissance and information exploitation, the Fire Commander quickly assigned officers and soldiers to deploy combat teams to put out the fire, prevent the fire from spreading, search and rescue, and direct traffic, ensuring security and order.

By around 10pm the same day, the fire was under control and did not spread to neighboring factories. Fortunately, the fire did not cause any human casualties.

The cause and damage caused by the fire are being investigated, counted and clarified by the authorities.
