In that technological picture, EVNSPC's booth made a strong impression with 10 outstanding products, not only demonstrating the ability to master technology but also conveying the message of a Southern Electricity industry that always strives to master technology, digital transformation and customer-centricity.

Mr. Hoang Quoc Son - Head of EVNSPC Communications Department - introduced EVNSPC's technology products at the booth for visitors.
One of the biggest attractions is the diorama model recreating two key projects demonstrating the intelligence and mettle of the Southern Electricity industry: the 110 kV Ha Tien - Phu Quoc underground cable line (started construction in 2010, put into operation in 2014) and the 220 kV Kien Binh - Phu Quoc line (started construction in 2019, phase 1 operation from 2022) - the longest 220 kV sea-crossing line in Southeast Asia.
The two projects will increase the total transmission capacity to the island by 5-6 times, ensuring electricity demand until 2035, creating a foundation for Phu Quoc to develop into a high-quality tourism center and an important economic zone in the region.
In the field of construction investment, EVNSPC also introduced two advanced technologies: BIM application in design - construction - operation of 110-220 kV projects and Scan to BIM solution to recreate virtual models of the entire project, supporting repair, maintenance and smart operation.

In the group of technical solutions, the hotline remote control insulation cleaning device is a remarkable breakthrough. This technology allows cleaning insulation with high pressure water without cutting off the power, doubling labor productivity and eliminating the risk of having to climb the pole to do manual operations. The system has flexible control capabilities, is easy to operate and is suitable for 22 kV power grid.
EVNSPC's artificial intelligence (AI) application solutions also clearly demonstrate a strong digital transformation orientation, typically: Using AI to analyze partial discharge signals; applying AI to monitor labor safety; AI to diagnose transformer failures by analyzing dissolved gas.

Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan - Deputy General Director of EVNSPC - presented a speech at the topic of Distribution and Customer Service.
In addition, the 110 kV substation primary equipment simulation model built by the Southern Electricity Testing Company is considered a valuable training tool, allowing students to master the structure and equipment of the substation through the integrated SCADA - protection - control simulation system without having to go to the field.
In addition to the technical solutions group, EVNSPC also provides products for customer management, internal communication and data management, such as the E-Tivi application or the customer branch program that displays the current status of the power grid on a digital map, contributing to improving management efficiency and customer service quality in the digital age...
Sharing many in-depth studies at the Conference
Not only making a strong impression at Techshow, EVNSPC also brought quality presentations to the National Electricity Science and Technology Conference. At the session on Distribution and Customer Service, Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan - Deputy General Director of EVNSPC presented the solution of Forecasting electricity load in the Southern region of Vietnam using the Rolling SARIMAX model combined with exogenous variables.
This is a study to build and compare forecasting models to find the optimal solution for the short-term electricity load forecasting problem in the southern provinces of Vietnam (excluding Ho Chi Minh City).
Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan said that electricity load forecasting plays a key role in the planning and operation of the national power system, contributing to ensuring the balance of energy supply and demand, optimizing costs and improving the reliability of electricity supply. In the southern region of Vietnam, where economic growth is high and electricity demand is constantly increasing, accurate forecasting becomes especially important.

The conference attracted the attention of many Vietnamese and international units and experts.
Particularly, in the context of increasing electricity consumption demand, affected by complex factors such as weather, socio-economic conditions and unusual events, practice requires forecasting models to have high accuracy and adaptability.
This study proposes implementing the Rolling SARIMAX model using a rolling forecasting method, in which the model is continuously updated with the latest data to improve its ability to adapt to actual fluctuations, said Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan.
Test results on daily electricity load data from 2021-2024 show that the Rolling SARIMAX model achieves good performance with a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of only 1.79%.
The study demonstrates that a linear model with dynamic updating mechanism can achieve higher performance than complex deep learning architectures, and proposes the application of Rolling SARIMAX in electricity load forecasting to minimize risks and improve system operation efficiency.
The contribution of this study is to propose the implementation of the Rolling SARIMAX model using the rolling forecast method – a technique that allows the model to be continuously updated with new data – thereby improving the adaptability and accuracy of SARIMAX in the context of real-time short-term forecasting.
This method not only helps to effectively exploit stable linear characteristics in the load chain, but also takes advantage of exogenous variables such as date and temperature to improve accuracy in changing weather conditions, said Mr. Bui Quoc Hoan.

In addition, EVNSPC also presented quality papers such as: Hosting Capacity Analysis of distributed sources and their role in sustainable energy transition in Vietnam; Application of artificial intelligence and dissolved gas analysis techniques in oil to build a program to diagnose potential failures in power transformers; Application of multi-layer NEURON networks in analyzing characteristics of partial discharge signals...
The technological products, research and presentations of EVNSPC at the Conference not only affirmed the Corporation's efforts in promoting the application of science and technology, but also showed its determination to innovate to meet the increasing demands in the context of the Electricity industry facing many challenges in terms of load, energy transition and energy security, thereby effectively implementing solutions to improve service quality, ensuring safe and stable electricity supply for socio-economic development in the Southern region and the whole country.
At the National Electricity Science and Technology Conference, delegates participated in donating and supporting people affected by natural disasters and floods, with a total amount of over 124 million VND.
